Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about how cases are reviewed, how the work is documented, how communication is handled, and what is and is not promised.

Do you publish a success rate?

No. Outcomes depend on where funds terminate, how quickly the case is opened, and whether the holding institution and its regulator act: none of which we control. Publishing a single rate would misrepresent that. Each case receives a written viability assessment instead.

What do you commit to?

We commit to how the work is carried out, not to an outcome: prompt written review of a documented case file, structured updates at every milestone, a clear case strategy, institution-ready documentation, and an honest assessment when a case is not viable.

Why is communication written only?

All client and institutional communication is conducted in writing to maintain an unbroken evidentiary chain of custody. Written records are auditable and timestamped, which is what cross-border tracing, exchange compliance submissions and law-enforcement referrals require.

How does the consultation work?

Every case begins with a free, confidential consultation. We review the facts, run an initial blockchain assessment, and give you a written summary of where the case stands. Full engagement terms are shared in writing before any work begins.

No outcome is guaranteed. Blackline Systems Ltd is a private firm, not a law-enforcement body and not a law firm, and it cannot compel any institution to return funds.
