Legal Authority & Service Commitments

Blackline Systems, d/b/a Blackline Systems Recovery, acts under the authority a client grants it in a written engagement agreement. Case documentation is prepared to an evidentiary standard so that it can be submitted to institutions and, where appropriate, referred to law enforcement.

What we commit to

• Case review: every submitted case is formally reviewed under our engagement framework.
• Case ID and documentation log: each accepted case is assigned a Case ID with structured evidence handling.
• Institution-ready documentation prepared in the formats institutions ask for.
• Escalation mapping: viable escalation pathways are identified and documented.
• Structured status reporting tied to actions taken and responses received.
• Written engagement terms: no work is performed without clear contractual authority.

Recovery outcomes

Outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including jurisdictional law, the cooperation of financial institutions and exchanges, the availability and quality of evidence, the actions and location of the perpetrators, and how quickly the case is opened.

Our commitments cover procedural execution, documentation standards, and escalation readiness. No financial recovery outcome or amount is promised, and none can be.

Regulatory status

Blackline Systems is a private firm. It is not a government agency, not a law-enforcement body, and not a law firm, and it does not hold client funds in custody.
